For over 15 years, I’ve worked alongside people navigating some of life’s toughest challenges—serious mental illness, addiction, incarceration, and homelessness. That work has grounded my belief in treating every person with dignity and respect. I believe in showing up, giving back, and making a real impact where it matters most. I lead with grit, humility, and a commitment to listening, learning, and doing what’s right.
As a mom of twins, I know firsthand the juggling act so many families face—balancing work, school, and everything in between. Family is at the heart of everything I do, and it’s what drives my commitment to building a stronger, more connected community for everyone.
I value collaboration and know the importance of seeking insight from those with different areas of expertise. My husband is a general contractor, and through countless conversations at our kitchen table, I’ve gained real-world insights of how to navigate complex issues outside of my knowledge. I believe good leadership means listening, learning, and leaning on the comptencies of others to make smart, informed decisions.
I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I show up with honesty, humility, and a willingness to learn. I believe in doing what’s right—even when it’s not easy—and in owning my mistakes as much as my strengths. Whether in my work as a clinical psychologist, a mother, or a community member, I lead with integrity and real-world perspective.
